Emerald Hotel , the only full service hotel in Gisborne has fantastic conference facilities with a large conference room that can be partitioned into 3 smaller rooms.  The hotel has state of the art conference and communications equipment which is perfect for product launches, private meetings, breakouts, video conferences, exclusive movie previews or viewing the ultimate sporting game/event.

The entire hotel has both high-speed wired and wireless internet capabilities with the highest level of connectivity and security available.  This gives guests the opportunity to work within their room, the restaurant or in the sun beside the outdoor pool.

  • Ceiling height throughout the conference rooms is 3 meters
  • The Ballroom is a combination of the Waimata, Turanganui, Taruheru and Pre-Conference/Breakout Area, when all folding walls are removed.
  • The two room configuration is the combination of either the Waimata and Turanganui rooms or the Taruheru and the Turanganui rooms.

With the adjoining Pool Courtyard and Restaurant across the courtyard, the capacity for a Cocktail Function is approximately 800.
